


Health, fitness and fat loss webinar

A fitness enthusiast and advocate my entire life, it was a no-brainer for me to enter into a healthcare profession. With many years working in health and fitness, and more than 20 years in healthcare in nursing and midwifery at many different levels from clinical to Director and everything in-between. Education has always been at the forefront of many of my roles, and I am also a passionate learner, having studied multiple qualifications and courses myself, and still studying.
I have also been a single mum, juggled shift work and financial strain, and fully understand the barriers that stand in the way to looking and feeling your best. I managed to coordinate and juggle all those things, in addition to entering multiple fitness events along the way. It wasn’t always easy, and I didn’t always stick to it 100% of the time. But consistency is key, and I can teach you what I did to maintain my health, my physique and energy levels to cope with all that I had going on, and include some recharge and down time. I will delve into what I ate when I competed, what I eat in general now to stay fit and healthy at 50 years old, and how you might be able to adapt some of this in your life.
I will also discuss the science behind fitness and fat loss, what the current evidence suggests, and allow you to be educated on what works long term for most people.
